Community Investment

Broad Heath School, Coventry

As a promoter of community investment, Midland Heart recognises, for an individual and a community to thrive, high quality housing needs to be provided alongside other services that aim to increase their quality of life.

We want to understand and react to the needs of communities and neighbourhoods where we work.

This ethos enables us to create collaborative partnerships with a range of organisations to produce better housing, help reduce crime, bring better health, good employment prospects, access to learning, training and education, investment in the economy and access to financial services. We develop solutions to improve local economies, create safer and greener neighbourhoods, and bring communities together. As a result we deliver a wide ranging portfolio responding to local needs; social, economic and physical regeneration projects and programmes.

As a promoter of regeneration and development, we want to understand and react to the needs of communities and neighbourhoods where we work.

By focussing in on our key neighbourhoods, and by working collaboratively across the group and with our external partners we are delivering joined up solutions. The Communities First programme is about building partnerships with communities to develop appropriate and innovative solutions to address local priorities.
