Description:
Hanwood House is a hostel for single homeless men over 25 years of age. There is no maximum age limit. We have 27 bed spaces in the hostel with bed, breakfast and evening meals provided and shared facilities. Referrals to the hostel provision can be self referrals or through an agency. We also have 12 independent living flats on the two top floors. Housing related support is offered to all customers to enable them to develop the skills needed to move on into independent living. The project is staffed 24 hours per day. Customers are required to complete a risk and needs assessment and affordability assessment before an offer of accommodation can be made and the maximum length of stay is 2 years.
