Hincks Street is a supported housing service for adults with mental health conditions . We have eight flats at our Hincks Street service and a further three flats at Faygate House in Bilston. Our aim is to enable customers to gain the skills needed to maintain and sustain their independence. We provide tenancy support from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm. We also provide a Floating Support service for up to 22 customers (see mental health outreach support).
Are you eligible to apply?
Customers must be supported by a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and have a Social Worker or CPN. Referrals are made via Single Referral Forum (SRF). The SRF consists of statutory agencies and housing providers who provide services for people with mental health needs. The referral form can also be sent directly to the service but would still need to be taken to the SRF meeting. An assessment is required and the offer of a flat depends on the outcome of assessment, and availability of flat. There is a waiting list available.
