    Smoking in the single biggest cause of accidental fires in the home and a third of all deaths in fires in the home are caused by cigarettes. This is often down to careless behaviour, such as smoking in bed or not taking care after drinking alcohol.

  • Strengthening consumer redress in the housing market

    We are supporting the Government’s ambition to simplify the housing sector’s system for residents who have complaints about their home – and are taking part in a national review looking at a number of options. This week we submitted our response to the Government review in which we agree the process needs to be overhauled and made easier for residents to lodge a complaint.

  • customer service team shortlisted for national award

    Our housing management service - made up of the Customer Hub, People Team and Place Team - has been shortlisted for a national Housing Heroes Award 2018. We are among eight organisations across the UK in the running for best customer service and the winner will be announced in June.
