Our Director of HR and Learning appears on Most Influential list

Baljinder Kang, Director of HR & Learning has been listed as one of the UK’s Most Influential Practitioners, in the not for profit category, in HR Magazine’s annual Human Resources (HR) Most Influential list.

Previously mentioned in the 2014 list as someone to keep an eye on and likely to make waves in the world of HR. This accolade recognises Baljinder’s achievements in transforming the HR and learning and development functions at Midland Heart over the last three years.

Baljinder said: “I feel honoured to have been nominated by my peers and named as one of the UK’s most influential HR practitioners.

“I am very proud of the work that we have done to support the business through a period of change. We have invested a great deal of time and resource into developing a total understanding of the business, its direction of travel, and aspirations so that the HR function can add real value.”

The Most Influential list is compiled by expert panels of HR head-hunters, academics, Non-Executive Directors and former HR directors, plus HR magazine editorial team and readers.

First published in 2006, the HR Most Influential list celebrates the most influential players in the field of people strategy, whose ideas and actions are shaping practices in HR, both in the UK and globally.

Other people mentioned on this year’s list include Siobhan Sheridan, Civilian human resources director at the Ministry of Defence and Valerie Hughes D'Aeth, Group HR director at the BBC.
