RthbIf you are affected by the overall Benefit Cap, you will receive a letter from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) between 24 May and 10 June. This letter contains information on how your income will be affected by the forthcoming Benefit Cap, as well as information on the advice and support councils and job centres will provide.

Information of when the Benefit Cap will take affect is not yet available, as there will be a phased rollout, starting in the Autumn.
