Big Difference Scheme
At Midland Heart we want to ensure our customers have access to opportunities to reduce the running costs of their household.
That’s why we want you to know about a scheme being run by Severn Trent Water to help customers struggling to pay their water charges.
If you are on a low income, depending on your circumstances you could have your water bill reduced anywhere between 10-90%, based on the average water bill in the Severn Trent region. It does not matter if you are working or on benefits, eligibility will depend on your circumstances and once on the scheme you will remain on it for 12 months and when it expires you can apply again.
Find out if you are eligible and how to apply: Checking whether you’re eligible is easy – you will be required to provide some information about your income and your outgoings to determine whether you are considered to have a low income. To check eligibility just click here and just so that you know, you will not be required to provide any personal information just to make an enquiry. If you are eligible you will automatically be directed to an application form and will be required to provide additional information.
