Frost and Snow celebrated its 3rd Birthday

Frost and Snow celebrated its 3rd birthday with an afternoon tea taster event. The coffee shop and bakery based just on the outskirts of Birmingham city centre showcased samples of their savoury products and sweet treats for local businesses.
As a social enterprise, supported by Midland Heart, Frost and Snow provides 12 week training programmes for those who have previously been homeless, aiding them with the skills needed restore their self esteem, regain confidence and help them back into employment.

"We have created over 70 job and training opportunities, to help people take control of their lives again. We give them the chance to work with us in the bakery which gives them valuable experience and skills needed to get back into work"

Nickie Gill, Social Value and Enterprise manager said "It's nice to see local businesses supporting Frost and Snow and utilising some of their services. It's not just about baking great cupcakes, but also about building those long lasting working relationships, whilst making a real difference."
