Money Advice team supports Highgate Fire Station Fun Day

Chip -pan -demoOn Thursday 24 August, Midland Heart will be supporting West Midlands Fire Service Fun Day at Highgate Fire Station. With the community fire station serving many Midland Heart homes, our Money Advice team will be there and on hand to offer debt, benefit and budgeting advice to customers who need support with their finances.

The fun day will feature fire service demonstrations, face painting, a bouncy castle, music and entertainment and careers advice, as well as stalls from various local charities and groups, including Midland Heart. Working in partnership with local organisations to support our communities plays an important role in giving our customers the best possible service and delivering value for money.

Our free Money Advice Service has helped 1788 tenants across the Midlands save £1.75m in debt savings over a 12-month period, as part of a drive to support people struggling with debt. The service works with over 80 new tenants a month to assess their financial situation and make sure they are able to sustain their tenancy. So come down, join our Money Advice team, and support your local community fire station, between 11am and 4pm on 24 August.
