We promote the use of consortia contracts for low risk purchases where the contracts meet our requirements. For low value purchases we promote the use of a government procurement card which we have been using now for over 2 years.
Midland Heart uses an e-procurement website called WMCOE Bravosolutions for EU tenders. We ask that suppliers register under the "Click here to register" section in order to complete the PQQ/tender exercise. Suppliers must also take into consideration any additional questions in the OJEU advert and add these to the additional information section. We will then provide all tender information through the 'Vault' to successful PQQ suppliers and request all tender information is returned where possible via the vault service. This solution is free of costs to suppliers.
