Independent Customer Member needed for our new Operations Committee

As a result of a recent business re-structure we have formed our new Operations Committee which will play an important role in delivering good governance in Midland Heart.

We are looking for a Midland Heart Customer to join the Operations Committee and provide an independent customer view to the discussions and the decision of the committee. Previous customer involvement experience is preferable but not essential.

The Committee meets around 6 times a year at our offices in Bath Row, Birmingham. Meetings take place outside working hours and last for up to 2 hours.  The role attracts an honorarium of £2,250 per year and reasonable expenses will be met in line with our policies.  A tailored induction programme will be offered to the successful candidate and training if required.
