Frequently Asked Questions

Who is the service provider?

We’re working with a third-party supplier who will provide the Wi-Fi service to you on our behalf. Purple specialise in providing easy to access WiFi coverage. They have almost ten years’ experience in providing WiFi access to customers. They currently support some of the world’s biggest brands, such as McDonalds, Starbucks and the NHS.

Is the new service permanent?

Yes this service will be permanent in your scheme. It will give you access to things such as;

  • Checking emails
  • Looking for jobs
  • Searching social media

Why do I need to pay for WiFi?

Very often we’re able to make WiFi available to you in communal areas in our services but we’re not able to give you access in individual flats. We’re now working through a process to upgrade our current systems so that we can give you access in your own home.

How much will it cost?

Your first half an hour per day is free. After that, the WiFi is £4.99 per month which will give you unlimited access for one month after you sign up.

For the majority of our schemes, we'll be giving you half an hour free access to the internet through our Purple WiFi. This will be available each day for you.

How do I sign up?

You’ll need a Debit or a Credit Card to hand. When you sign up, you’ll be asked for some details, like your name, email address and date of birth. Make sure you make a note of your user name and password so that you’re able to sign into the network on your other devices.

I’ve paid through a device but want to connect other devices

Simply log in to your other devices using your email and password.

You’ll be able to connect a maximum of 3 devices.

What devices can I use the WiFi on?

Devices you can use:
  • Mobile Phone
  • Laptop
  • iPad / Tablet
