With our free app you can securely manage your rent account anytime, anywhere on your smartphone or tablet.
Downloading the app is easy and it’s available to all Midland Heart customers.
Search ‘Midland Heart’ on the Apple or Android app store or click one of the icons below.
Once you’ve registered you can:
- View your rent balance and payment history
- Make a payment
- Update your personal details
- Download your rent statement and proof of rent

Why can't I download the app?
For your security the app will only work if you have a PIN or passcode on your smartphone/tablet. Create one and then you should be able to download the app.
How do I register my account?
To register you’ll need your personal reference number. Don’t worry if you don’t know it, you can ask for it on the app and we’ll send it to you via text, email or post.
Once you’ve received your personal reference number, you’ll be asked to enter this, your full name and date of birth so we can check that you are the account holder.
Can I report repairs on the app?
Not yet, but we are working on this feature.
For now, you can choose Maintenance and Repairs from the main menu and it will take you to our website to report a repair or visit the Contact Us page and select repairs as a reason.
Is my personal information safe?
Our App is encrypted which means our app is safe and secure to use. All of your bank details are stored in an unreadable format to prevent anyone else from accessing them.
You don't even have to worry if you forget to log out of your account. We will automatically log you out after 15 minutes of inactivity.
We want to make sure that we are doing everything that we can to protect you against online Fraud. Which is why we've recently upgraded our security measures by adding 3-D Secure to the app.
What is 3-D Secure?
3-D Secure is another layer of security that will protect your personal data when you use our app.
You may have already used this security measure when making online payments. Examples of 3-D Secure are:
- Mastercard Secure Code
- American Express SafeKey
You’ll need to verify the payment with your bank by either typing in a passcode or entering specific digits of the password associated with your bank.
