Changes in your health, wellbeing or personal circumstances can affect how you use our services. If there's something we should know, even if it's a small change that could make things easier, we want to hear about it.

Understanding vulnerabilities

A vulnerability is where a situation is making it more difficult for you to access a service, manage your tenancy or even communicate with us. It can be temporary, ongoing or it can change over time, for example:

  • A disability

  • Pregnancy or a recent change in health

  • A physical or mental health condition

  • Safeguarding concern

  • Difficulty communicating due to language barriers

  • Bereavement or a big change in your life

How can we support you

We'll talk to you to understand what's changed and how this might be affecting you, and together we'll work out how we can support you so you're still able to access our services. We can make reasonable adjustments to suit your needs, such as:

  • Contacting you in a way that works for you

  • Allowing more time for an appointment

  • Visiting you at a certain time of the day

  • Sharing information in a way that suits you

We have left the tenant census open on our website, so we can continue learning more about your needs and identify ways we can make our services easier for you to access.

Through the tenant census, we've learned about almost 3,000 new support needs. This information is helping us to make changes so more tenants can access our services in a way that works for them.

How to let us know if something has changed

If something has changed in your life, no matter how small it may seem, give our Hub team a call on 0345 60 20 540. We'll listen and talk through what support could work better for you.
