Change of name

If your legal name has changed from the one on your original tenancy agreement or lease—for example through marriage, civil partnership, divorce, dissolution, or by deed poll—please let us know as soon as possible by filling out the form below.

To update your name, you must provide supporting documents such as a Change of Name Deed or Marriage Certificate.

A change of name does not add or remove anyone from your tenancy and does not create a new tenancy.

It will be your responsibility to inform all relevant organisations of your new name, including the local Housing Benefit Authority.
