When you first report a roof repair to us we’ll organise for one of our repairs operatives to visit you and make sure that your home is safe.
Some examples of making your property safe can include minimising water damage to the property, by collecting water to stop it from causing further damage, the removal of loose tiles or covering a hole in a roof section with plastic sheeting to prevent bad weather coming in.
These first steps are generally temporary until we can arrange for a full roof repair to be organised. Please bear with us as roofing can be a complex repair to resolve.
What happens next?
You’ll be contacted by one of our approved partner contractors who’ll arrange to come out and repair your roof more permanently. They will aim to complete your repair within 28 days.
If you haven’t received an appointment please call us on 0345 60 20 540 to let us know.
If in the meantime you have an emergency to report please call us. Emergencies include these things:
- Loose or multiple missing tiles
- Lead flashing for chimney stacks and loose brickwork
- Health & Safety risks for example hanging tiles over footpaths or entry points
Roofing repairs can be tricky but we're working with our partners to make sure that they're completed as soon as possible while minimising disruption to you and your home.
