App not working properly?

Learn how to log in, reset your password, know what to do if your app isn't loading and contact support.

Please note that our tenant app is only available to use if you live in one of our homes.

📲 Downloading the app is easy and it’s available to all of our tenants. Simply search ‘Midland Heart’ on the App store or Google play.

Quick fix checklist!

If you're experiencing a problem with your app where you can't seem to finish what you're doing, for example you can't seem to book a repair or make a rent payment - follow these simple steps first:

  1. Is your internet connection working?
  2. Have you downloaded the latest version of the app?

  3. Try closing and reopening the app

  4. Restart your phone

Technical issues

Below are some examples of technical issues you might be facing with our app, along with the troubleshooting steps on how to fix this.

How to update your app

If you've got an Android phone, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Google Play Store app
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon
  3. Tap Manage apps and device
  4. Under 'Updates available', tap See details
  5. Next to the app that you want to update, tap Update.

 

If you've got an iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the App Store app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your picture at the top right
  3. Scroll down, then tap Update next to apps you want to update, or tap Update All.
What to do if your app isn't loading

If your app is frozen on a page and won't change, try these following steps if you haven't already:

  1. Double check your internet connection is working 
  2. Make sure you've downloaded the latest version of the app
  3. Try closing and reopening the app
  4. Restart your phone

Logging in

Below are some examples of logging in issues you might be facing with our app, along with the troubleshooting steps on how to fix this.

How to reset your password
  1. On the login screen, tap Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email address and tap Send reset code
  3. Check your email, then enter the code to verify your identity
  4. Create a new password that meets the requirements and tap Set password.
  5. You’ll be returned to the login screen. Log in with your new password.
What to do if you've forgotten your email address

If you've forgotten your email address, call into our Hub on 0345 60 20 540 and our team will be able to help you.
