Rent payment options

There are plenty of ways to pay your rent. The simplest is to set up a direct debit so it is paid every month without you having to do anything! You can also pay on the Midland Heart app 24/7 or by calling allpay on their 24 hour payment line.

  • Direct Debit

    Paying by direct debit means your rent is paid straight from your bank account to your rent account, with one simple set up process at the beginning. It’s a free service, unless there isn’t enough money in your account to cover the payment on your chosen day which will normally result in a bank charge. Setting up your direct debit is really easy to do you can do it:.

    • request a form from us

    We’ll then arrange to take the payment from your bank or building society on an agreed date. If the rent you need to pay changes, we will usually give you at least 10 working days notice so that you can make sure the correct amount of money is available in your account.

    You can also cancel your direct debit at any time by contacting your bank or building society but you’ll need to make alternative arrangements with us to pay your rent.


  • Midland Heart customer app

    With our app, you can pay your rent on the go from your smartphone or tablet. It is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and as well as the option to make payments, it has lots of other great features.

    Downloading the app is easy! Search for Midland Heart on the Apple or Android app store and register for an account.

  • 24 hour payment line

    You can pay your rent online 24 hours a day, please visit the allpay site to make your payment or download the app.

    The allpay app is quick, easy to use and secure and can be downloaded to Apple, Windows and Android devices.  Once you've installed it you can pay in 3 easy clicks whenever it suits you.  You can choose to have a default payment amount or choose how much you pay and when you pay it.

    Allpay also offer an automated telephone service on behalf of Midland Heart that you can use at any time, any day of the year.

    Using your telephone keypad you will need to key in all the details requested, including the 19 digit number on your rent payment card. Calls normally take around two minutes and are charged at the national rate of about 10p.

  • Paypoint

    Using your rent payment swipe card means you can pay at any convenience store displaying the PayPoint logo. Don't forget, you may need to double check with the shop if the service is free.

  • Post Office

    It's free to pay your rent at any post office by cash, debit card or cheque. Just make cheques payable to Post Office Ltd and remember to take your rent payment swipe card with you.
